I treat SFI/TripleClicks as I would any other job.
I have set aside certain hours each day that I devote solely to SFI/TripleClicks. I have tried to organize myself as best as possible so that I can get the most out of each day. A typical day for me is as follows:
1.Login to SFI and do my dailies. I will multitask while I am doing my dailies; for example when “checking out the latest items at TripleClicks”, I will also look for any messages that I may have there. I will make note of them for follow up after I am done with my dailies.
2.Read any messages and reply as needed. Even when I am done with my SFI work for the day, I will check for new messages, and reply as needed.
3.I try to spend at least an hour a day on marketing. I have a list of places to advertise and I have broken that list so I work on different sites each day. I have found that this is easier than trying to work on the whole list each day.
4.Perform website maintenance which entails just making sure my site is performing as it should and keeping information up to date.
5.Traffic exchanges: I do my traffic exchanges separate from my normal SFI. Since most of the exchanges that I use require me to do some “surfing”, I do this while we are watching TV in the evening. This makes it a much less boring job.
6.Once a week I send out a team newsletter which includes training tips, ideas I have tried, etc. I update my leadership page blog at the same time. I keep it simple, as I don’t want to overwhelm any team member.
The exact time I spend each day varies as I may spend more time working than just my “allotted” hours.
