Fortunately, we don't actually have to close the sales ourselves. All we need to do is steer potential buyers to the TripleClicks gateways and let the sales materials there do the selling for us. We are marketing rather than selling. But we must market TC products in some way, or nobody will 'walk into the shop', and buy. Splitting your promotional efforts between SFI and TripleClicks will attract more TC customers, giving you more potential commissions.
Recruiting one or more ECAs will definitely help, especially if they are selling a physical product and are based outside the USA, as it means you are introducing a place where your TC customers can spend their money locally. You get a share of their profits from every TC sale.
Be creative and thoughtful when deciding how, where, and what to market. College students are more likely to be interested in downloading music than buying nutritional supplements. People in developing nations are more likely to buy products that ship electronically than physical products due to shipping costs and import regulations in some countries.
