Leave the warnings about what will happen if they do not make EA and about loosing their team members to SFI.
Send your weekly mail to them with positive quotes, acknowledgements and tips to them. You have to be positive and optimistic in your communication to them - it is contagious (like a smile). If you persevere they might eventually catch it from you.
If you can afford it - offer them incentives like T-credits or a share in a co-op.
Competitions to encourage them to compete against themselves as well as each other.
Be open and available to them and react to their mails as soon as humanly possible.
Keep your eyes open for opportunities to send an e-card or a personal mail.
It is the small things that count. If your team knows and feels that you take a personal interest in them they are more likely to react positively.
Never lie to them or make false promises you can't keep.
