My best suggestion is to simply email them once or twice a week with motivating emails. Use examples of what's worked for you and suggest that it's something they may want to try.
Remind them to keep the lines of communication open and simply let them know that you're there if they need any help.
Encourage them to read your posts on the Stream too for little tips here and there and be sure to congratulate them as they reach new levels, earn a new badge, etc.
You want them to feel like they're being motivated and led but not pushed.
I had a really pushy upline member a while back who really turned me off. Eventually I just stopped reading their emails and did my own thing and I finally dropped out of SFI. I signed back up a few months later with a new sponsor and co-sponsor who are both fantastic. They lead, share, motivate and encourage, and make suggestions but never in a demanding way.
That's the kind of sponsor you want to be too!
