You are very wise to be cautious; after all they are the business owners. Sponsors are the mentors.
I know it can be quite frustrating at times when they do not seem to be motivated, when they don’t log in, when they don’t do what we suggest but that is our role – to train, to guide, to mentor them. It’s really up to them to ‘play ball’ so to speak.
You can continually support and motivate them by:
- Your own example eg - How many achievement badges do you have at your profile? Your affiliates look at these and it’s an indication to them of what you do, not just what you say.
- Gently keep on training them on how to advertise, how to sponsor.
- Regularly sending them encouraging messages. Send them useful tips on where/how to get VP.
- Grow affiliate involvement by team competitions, incentives, co-ops, broadcasting and celebrating successes, acknowledge milestone and anniversaries.
- Helping them to set targets of what they want to achieve and then help them mapping out how to get there.
- Encouraging leadership and ownership of their own destinations. You do not want dependents.
I have at times ‘played hard ball’ with PSAs who continually ask me the basic questions that they would not have been asking me if they had done the Launchpad lessons. They have to help themselves regarding their learning etc.. not relying on me all the time.
