A quick "Welcome Back" message will let them know you care about them, and that they are still a welcome part of your team. I was inactive for a number of years due to some serious health issues. When I returned, even a quick "Welcome back! Is there anything I can do to help you move your business forward?" message would have been nice to see. Sadly, I did not get one.
The reason they have been inactive may be personal or professional, and if they wish to share it with you, that is fine. Otherwise, I would leave it alone.
I would then work with them the way I would work with a brand new affiliate, starting by sending them a series of emails outlining the steps they need to take to succeed at SFI.
