Both encouraging and discouraging our PSA to become Team leaders right away is not the right approach.
Here is why.
It is self serving to the sponsors to keep on encouraging their PSA to become Team leaders if they do not have team yet. It is expensive to maintain Team leadership if you do not have a team. You need to buy a lot of TC to reach the VP needed to become a Team Leader. So the beneficiary here is the sponsor because he earns big commission in the expense of his PSA.
To discourage our enthusiastic PSA not to go to Team Leader is not good also, especially if our PSA has money to accelerate his pace to success, buy bidding for more PSA and CSA or buying PSA.
So my approach is education. I explain carefully the consequences of their action. I explain the pros and cons of going to team leadership prematurely. But I also explain how it can accelerate the road to success.
In other words I asses the capacity of my PSA and tell them what is the best route thay can take.
