As a team leader my role is to make everyone on my team successful. Realistically not everyone you recruit will be motivated or willing to put in the effort needed to succeed.
I start by first identifying which opportunities in SFI match the person’s interests I am talking to. If you focus on their interest you will be more likely to motivate them to join and succeed. As they master one area in the program you can introduce them to other opportunities in the program. If you keep things simple and uncomplicated they won’t get overwhelmed and confused by the complexity of the program.
Remember you are not required to participate in everything. If you keep your focus on their interests and desires you will have a person excited to join and participate. If you send out regular communications to your team sharing successes, over time this should get team members interested in trying new areas of the program. This is a very powerful method of promoting and educating team members.
Remember if your team succeeds you do to.
