Here are some tips for having good listings:
1. Use 3 good quality, clear pictures of the product.
- They say it is optional to have three photos, but you should always have three. Take pictures from different angles, or a pic of you or someone else using the product (if it is a toy car, for example). Make it look like the good quality product that it is, or make it look like a fun or interesting thing to have. Make the product look desirable.
2. Know how much the product weighs.
- Whether or not you are using TripleClicks' auto-calculate shipping fees option, know the weight of the product. That way, you can look up how much it will cost to ship, or enter the weight of the item in on TripleClicks. You don't want to overcharge for shipping, because then people won't buy it. And you also don't want to undercharge for shipping, because you will be losing money. Unless, of course, you want to offer free shipping.
3. Consider "Free" Shipping.
- Either genuinely offer free shipping for the product (if you know that it will cost you little or nothing to ship), or, you can inflate the price of the item by how much it would cost you to ship it, and then don't charge anything for shipping. Seeing the phrase "Free Shipping!" is attractive to buyers.
4. Give a detailed description on the item.
- Give examples of how much you used it, how you used it, why it is a good product, how it works, it's specifications - the more info, the better.
