There is one thing you will need for auto-bidder and that is deep pockets!
Many is the time that I have been watching an auction and suddenly the price goes crazy and the next thing you know the price has gone up by a couple of dollars in no time at all and remember that if we are talking about two people in auto bid mode then that's 100 T credits for each person, gone in the blink of an eye and there is always then a queue of people ready to swoop in the hope that both auto bidders have exhausted themselves
I know that some people like the auto-bid and it can be useful in that people are bidding against somebody who is clearly in auto bid mode it can scare everybody away but it can also clear you out of T credits like nothing else so like I say, unless you have a heap of credits burning a hole in your account I would always hold off using auto bid
If you have time to spare I find a much better method is to watch and see what is happening. Most of the time you won't even have to bid as most people bid before the Going, Going, Gone. This will let you see how the auction is going, how much action there is, whether there are any auto bidders and who is in the auction (checking their profile helps)
Normally I would wait and watch whilst other people waste their T credits and only when the timer starts to hit Going, Going, Gone do I bid, normally at the second 'Going'. It does not always work but using this strategy gives you the best chance to win with the minimum of expenditure
less
