In my opinion the best way to make sure they are used is to be very careful to select who you give them to and when!
If you just hand them out randomly, you will not get a good level of response. If you invest time and effort with each person showing them how to use the card and help them get going you will have a much better success rate.

Although in the end it is up to the individual, I believe that investing the time to learn if they are truly interested in some aspect of SFI or Triple-Clicks is the answer1
Are they a merchant with a web site to tie into the SFI/TC system?
Are they a musician who wants exposure?
Are they a Game player who will enjoy Zebra Games?
Are they a penny auction buff or at least one who wants opportunities like the daily deal?
Are they looking to build a long-term income with a real business of their own?
In other words do they qualify as a Great Lead.. or at least as a lead to a great lead?
the person you talk to may not be a player now or ever but if they are a taste leader or a person of influence then surely it is worth the time and effort to show them the ropes and get them started - one on one - and show that you care about them enough to share this great opportunity with them1
If you do this 100% of the time you should get close to 100% participation if you don't then the standard of 2 - 4% is all you can hope for!
