By definition, Merriam-Webster dictionary, persevere means "to continue doing something or trying to do something even though it is difficult. To persist in a state, enterprise, or undertaking in spite of counter-influences, opposition, or discouragement".
But there is more to it...Perseverance shouldn't only be about persistence, or to continue doing something even though it is difficult. It's about pursuing predefined goals that we have set for ourselves while we learn to tackle any setbacks, opposition, or discouragement that we might come across.
What makes me persevere with SFI and not quit?
1. I made SFI a major part of the predefined goals that I have set for myself. Now I pursue and follow through, eliminating doubts in the SFI opportunity and sticking with it; hunting for alternatives is a sure way to failure.
2. I set my priorities because setting our priorities determines where we are heading next. We control what we achieve and how we form our environment and shape our future. I am here, I made a choice, and I picked SFI. Next step: I am moving forward, moving towards my goals. My actions determine my success, if I don't "DO IT" no one is going to "DO IT" for me.
3. I maintain a positive outlook, that certain mindset to turn tough spots into sweet spots. I continue to think out of the box, pushing myself beyond my limits to create new highs.
4. I expect an uneven terrain, plenty of obstacles, but the key is to turn them into challenges. Then turn those challenges into opportunities.
"Successful leaders see the opportunities in every difficulty rather than the difficulty in every opportunity." - Reed Markham
and last but not least
5. I treat my SFI business like my life depends on it.
Wishing you all the best and God bless you and your loved ones.
