I have not seen it talked about recently in the Forum, but when reading some past posts written by SFI successes, there is a goal that not many of us look at as a short term goal. That is to make more than you spend in a month. We all want this, but few list it as a written goal. How strange that something we desire so much is not included in our written gals.
I would encourage my PSAs and CSAs to include this in their goals along with the desired month. I would also have them to set a written budget for their monthly expenses.
Notice, the monthly expenses do not only include the cost of their monthly Standing Order, but also the cost for other items needed and bought for doing business, the cost of any paid advertising, plus the cost of any rewards paid to downline affiliates. It should not include the cost of items bought for personal use items.
When you actually know how much you are investing into your business, you will be able to stick to your budget and to set your goals. You will also be able to actually see when you cross the black or red line, when you break even for the month. You can work towards a goal that you can see and understand. You can see that the month will come when you will break even. After that comes the profit and that will grow if you do the work and do not stop.
