I don’t recommend copying other’s blog for the sake of good content. It might get you into trouble for copyright infringement. Copyright infringement occurs when a copyrighted work is reproduced, distributed, performed, publicly displayed, or made into a derivative work without the permission of the copyright owner.
What you should do to provide good content for your SFI blog that does not infringe someone else’s copyrights?
- Use your skills and imagination to create your SFI blog completely original. Consider what you have to say and how you say it. People will return to your blog if they like what you write about a specific subject. Keep it personable so as to invite interaction through blog comments and links back to your blog from other bloggers who like what you write. Think of the things that you’re good at in SFI; write them in your blog.
- Write your blog posts honestly and openly. Whether you’re interested in Sponsoring, ECA, Pricebender Auctions; write passionately about them. Your blog posts need to be dynamic, interesting and enjoyable for people to read.
- Create a content that is written for your readers.
Become an expert in your subject. If you consistently logging into your SFI homepage, taking the time to learn each topic of SFI Tools and Resources, you’re widening your knowledge base, which will make it easier for you in creating a good content for your SFI blog. Stay on top of SFI news and trends. Participate in SFI Forum and Ask SC. Knowing your SFI community will give you an upper hand when it comes to good content of your SFI blog.
By following the steps above, you never have to worry about the copyright because you own it.
