Well, there's a big difference between a "bribe" and an "incentive." A "bribe" would be asking them to do things they don't want to do for whatever reason, while an "incentive" rewards them for actions they might have taken anyway. As a sponsor, if I've got a big downline, in between talking with those that are already making the effort, giving everyone a chance to feel like their efforts are paying off only makes some sense. On the other hand, if you're giving away 10 TCredits a day to each and every affiliate that logs in and clears his or her tabs, that's a bad practice!
On the other hand, you can do plenty that allows affiliates know you care, both by talking to them and by pointing them to useful tools. This costs you nothing and can result in successful affiliates, which make you a successful sponsor. These are still "incentives," and they're definitely worth giving.
