Off-line advertising can be any advertising that you will personally see to, like ads in printed media, warm marketing, posting of banners, pamphlets or other printed ads on notice boards or other places, distributing marketing materials personally, etc. and will normally take place in your country.
On-line advertising will be any advertising that you do on the Internet whether it be classified ads on eCommerce websites, social ads on social media, drip advertising on social media, advertising on your own personal website, or any other way of on-line marketing.
Whether the one will give better results than the other will all depend on the quality of the ad, the reach of the media, the prominence of your ad or site on search engines, etc. You can track them by giving each ad and publication another key code and that way see which ones do the best. For some it’s solo ads, for others it’s sharing on Facebook and for others it’s their website ads. You will have to do your own trial and error tests.
