Advertising SFI as a business opportunity is fantastic in developed and developing nations where E-commerce has a strong foothold.
If you look around the forums and Ask SC you will find major distrust of online stores and businesses in countries that have only recently gained access to a well developed Internet. While there are often a lot of people who will check out SFI from these countries out of curiosity, the number who will trust this business and focus on the work needed to succeed is often very low.
Trust is vital and trust comes with experience with a brand or company.
When promoting TripleCLicks which should be your major focus you will also do better promoting in countries with a strong e-commerce presence and large consumer buying power. I saw others talking about being sure there are local providers to save on shipping cost but to ignore a country because there are a low number of ECA from it is earnings suicide.
Instead develop a plan to recruit ECA and buyers alike through targeted advertising. Match local stores with online customers and you will win at both ends with commissions and royalties.
In my business nearly 20% of my income and growing is coming from ECA Royalties. In time I anticipate this being 1/3 or more of my income because online sellers are need new and low competition places to market their goods online and as my business grows, so does my advertising budget.
Never count any country out. Some may not be tech savvy today or trust the Internet much but 3 to 5 years from now the net will be old hack to them and those sleepers of today may be the super affiliates of tomorrow.
