A couple of good free ones are bitly or maybe even the google url shortening service. Just go ahead and google them, they are easy to find. These new links will basically track how many clicks that your ads are receiving.
Over time you will learn which ones are working best and which ones are not. If you are using safelists or even traffic exchanges then there are many varying factors which can create an amazing ad. Size, font and even color where permitted can all play a big role in what ads succeed and what ads do not. Do not expect it to all happen overnight. Be patient.
