I think it’s a great idea to send an individual welcome letter to your new PSAs. They need to know who their sponsor is, and you need to establish a relationship with them. Put yourself in their shoes. You’ve signed up for this new opportunity, but you’re a little suspicious about whether or not it is a viable business. After all, you’ve been tricked several times by online marketers who promised that you’d earn lots of money overnight, and you haven’t made a thing! You decided you’d give SFI a try because it doesn’t cost you anything to join, so you figure you can’t lose. You get on the website and see all the information that is presented, and you’re confused about where to start. It looks pretty overwhelming, and you’re starting to think maybe you’ve made a mistake getting involved with this business. Then you get a personal email from your sponsor, who welcomes you warmly to SFI. They tell you that they are there to help you, to answer questions you may have, and to give you tips on how best to proceed. They reassure you that there is help, and that they care that you succeed. If you have just joined, they advise you to try to earn the 500 VPs in your first 24 hours, so you can earn the extra 200 VPs and the fast track badge. They tell you that your goal for your first month is to try to earn 1500 VPs so you can earn the rank of EA. That’s the way to start on your goal of earning money with this business. They also advise you to log in to the home page – the SFI Affiliate Center – and do the activities on the daily to-do list each day. They tell you to do about half of the Launchpad lessons, and save the rest for the next month when it’s a little more difficult to make their VPs. They reaffirm that your job in these first few months is to learn about SFI and TripleClicks, and they advise you to take your time to do this. They remind you that you are able to learn the basics of internet marketing through this program, and that although you won’t get rich quickly, eventually you’ll learn how to make some serious money from SFI if you stick with it. Most importantly, they make you feel like somebody cares that you succeed in SFI, and that is a great blessing!
PS. I copy each message I write to my new PSAs on a Word document. Then I have several email messages that I can refer to, and I pick out the one that is closest to what I want to say to the new PSA and copy and paste it into their email. I revise it as needed and send it out. This is a real time-saver and works well for me.
