When you talk about Search Engine Optimization (SEO), you are trying to make your Website attractive enough to get the various search engines to rank your Website high. The things that will attract these search engines the fastest are relevant keywords and high quality page content. Relevant keywords are those that describe your Website content and, when put in your Browser’s search engine; take you to a results page that lists your Website. With the proper relevant keywords your Website will be listed on the first or second page. The easiest way to determine the proper keywords is with keyword software.
Once you determine the keywords you want to rank for, if you do not yet have a domain name, try to use at least one of them in the name as this helps the Search Engine find your Website for ranking. In any case, your topic headers and your Website content should contain these keywords. However, do not use your keywords too many times in your content as Search Engines such as Google can consider you are just putting in keywords just to get higher ranking. Also, it may make your content not flow properly.
One caution, do not use SEO link programs or software to try and raise your Website ranking. Recently Google has been banning Websites with non-relevant links.
