The obvious answer is YES!
Therefore if it is worth welcoming PSAs, then it is worth doing it well, as they say:
"What is worth doing at all, is worth doing well".
So, YES, it is worth sending individual welcome letters to new PSAs instead of group mailings.
It's a more professional way to do it.
Your PSA will feel important to receive a personal letter of welcome, just as you must have felt when you received yours.
It shows recognition, interest and care. It is the first impression you are creating of SFI, and first impression matters a lot.
It is just like gifts, when we personalise a gift, it suddenly becomes more valuable than when the same gift is given the usual way! Why? It's simple, the gift cost the same money, but the personalised one shows that the giver cares!!
There will be plenty of opportunities later on, to send group mails.
