These are the some of the things an affiliate should NOT do in their first month:
An affiliate should not rush into SFI without first reading and understanding what their SFI business is all about. The affiliate must understand that this is NOT a job, but their own business and should be treated as such. They must understand that this is a building process that takes time.
An affiliate should NOT depend upon their sponsor to tell them everything to do. Your sponsor is there for advice and guidance. You must remember that your sponsor may have just joined SFI themselves and may lack the experience and knowledge that one might expect. You can become a sponsor very quickly in SFI. Again, it is the affiliate's responsibility to learn and understand their own SFI business.
An affiliate should NOT expect to reap great rewards in the first few months at SFI. As with any business, building your business base and your brand takes time. The first month should be spent on learning about SFI and deciding how to actually conduct their business. Is their main focus going to be on recruiting? Does the affiliate have stuff to list on Tripleclicks? Can the affiliate qualify as an ECA? These are thing that need to be decided in the first months and can have an impact on how quickly one can expect to see a return from their efforts.
Finally, a new affiliate should NOT think that success can be achieved without reading, learning, working, and investing one's time and money. There are many ways to work your SFI business and earn an income. But, there are basic rules and principles that must be followed to achieve real and lasting success. Take your time and enjoy the ride.
