In their first month, Affiliates should concentrate on learning the SFI system, and NOT obsess about accumulating VersaPoints. In fact, it is beneficial to new Affiliates to stop taking VP once they reach 1500, while continuing to read and learn the.material on their To-do list, and then go back in their second month and review, taking the remaining points at that time. This will not only help them to make EA2, it will strengthen their basic knowledge of our program.
The goal of the first few months should be education in the fundamentals of SFI, and starting to build a foundation from which to grow. Rushing to accumulate VP may earn them a few dollars more, but in the third month, they could well be struggling to find their way. Knowing the basics - Learn, Recruit, Duplicate - will give them freedom to think outside the box and invent good systems to accomplish these things. They will also have had two months to read Ask SC and the forum and gather ideas from their Sponsor, Co-Sponsor and A2A friends that will set them on a winning road. They will avoid being confused and overwhelmed, which are confidence killers.
As Gery says, "This is a Journey, not a Race", and Affiliates who take the time at the beginning to absorb the knowledge so carefully set before them will position themselves more easily to lead.
