Regardless of what personal characteristics and skills we have - all can succeed with SFI if we are open and be receptive to learning new things and to personal development.
First we need to have a goal or a destination, where we want to be or what we want. We then work out a strategy or a plan on how to get there. This should identify the skills we need to get there and our own personal characteristical needs. What we do from here on depends largely on each individual.
Some of the main and general characteristics and skill we need are:
- BEING FOCUSED and single mindedly driven. Dont be distracted by other enticing money making businesses and schemes. Focus on our goals.
- We need to BE PATIENT and to persevere. Dont give up easily. Keep at it consistently even on those off days when you do not feel like working at the business. Even when the knockers are knocking loudly and trying to dissuade you.
- OPENNESS. Be open and receptive to new learning, new ideas and new way of doing things. Be open to advice and to learn from others.
- HUMILITY. This does not mean being weak, shy and putting yourself down. It means accepting who you are. Acknowledging your strengths and weaknesses. Work on your weaknesses and develop these characteristics. Regarding your strengths, celebrate these and capitalise on them, using them also for the benefits of others.
- BUSINESS PROFICIENCY. SFI is a real and serious business and it needs to be conducted with business proficiency. This is not a hobby. The aim is financial freedom and this will never be achieved if we treat SFI as a hobby. We need to develop real business skills and run it like any other real business.
These are only some of the attributes, characteristics and skills we need to be successful in SFI.
