First, Flyers are a common tool used by Owner to promote their new business or product.
They are relatively low cost and an effective way to catch people’s curiosity.
Local Schools College: One of the best place to distribute flyers are your local schools, you need to call first to get permission or check if they got any restrictions. If you know some students from that College they gone know where you're allowed to place flyers give them some flyers.
Local Newspapers or Publications: Small town community newspapers and shopping presses may agree to deliver your flyer at a relatively low rate.
It is probably much more affordable than investing your own time or paying workers to distribute the flyers.
Community Boards: A common technique to promote a business through flyers is placing them on various community boards and locations.
Many grocery stores and local organizations have community bulletin boards in their lobbies where you can post flyers.
Stuff them in magazines at the book store and grocery store, post flyers in several places like:
Grocery stores, laundry mats, local libraries, dry cleaners, car windshield, post office, check cashing places, antique shops, second hand stores, restaurants, ETC…
You might also try apartment complexes in your area. We have a bulletin board in our Condo building and a lot of building got some, anyone is allowed to post their flyers.
Get people out to the malls to pass out flyers by hand to people. Be friendly and cheerful and be prepared to answer questions.
Answering somebody's questions fixes you a lot more strongly in people's minds than a flyer under the windshield.
Many towns or cities have ordinances restricting or outlining where flyers can be posted to prevent clutter.
Some communities restrict or ban affixing flyers.
Local schools and public buildings may also have policies restricting placement.
And more important, Just make sure your sign stands out otherwise it'll just get lost with everything else.
