The best way to contact a prospective ECA is to use the ECA Program Strategies found under SFI Training.
How To Get Started:
- Be sure to read and understand the Frequently Asked Questions about referring ECAs
and your ECA Gateway (http://www.tripleclicks.com/SFIID/ECA)
- Make a list of companies in your local area, state or country or do a web search worldwide and be sure to record the following key contact information:
Company Name
Address
City
State (if applicable)
Postal Code (if applicable)
Country
Phone Number
Fax Number
Contact Person (Marketing Director, Store Manager, or Owner's Name)
Focus your ECA target from small-to mid-sized companies in your prospecting. By doing so, you'll have much easier way to get through to the decision makers and won't have to deal with multiple layers of management.
Here are the ways to contact your prospective ECAs:
- Print Media Advertising
Use the SFI approved text ads like “INSTANTLY INCREASE YOUR SALES
...by plugging your products and services into TripleClicks. “ and so on. Place your ads where like-ads exist. In the case of the ECA program, you want to advertise it where other parties are advertising products and services directed at the same target audience because this indicates that your target audience "bites" here.
- Telemarketing
Use your phone book's Yellow Pages or Business Directory to contact businesses for prospecting. You can avail of the SFI ECA script provided to be effective in your prospecting. For more details:

- Door–To-Door
You can drop off ECA literature to businesses. Make sure to stamp or print your SFI ID on the back cover so that you are credited with signups generated by your brochures. If you can hand in the ECA brochure and your business card to the owner or store manager the better. Dress appropriately when presenting the ECA opportunity.
- Direct Mail
To be effective in this marketing method you must have a good mailing list. Use your phone books or business directory or you can search business directories online and create your good quality mailing lists. In contacting your mailing list and to add professionalism use the recommended information package such as:
1. Std. #10 TripleClicks Envelope
2. TripleClicks Letterhead
3. TripleClicks ECA Brochure with your SFI ID number
4. ECA Postcard
Use the letter template available at ECA Strategies.
- In-Store Casual
Think of your local stores where you buy yo ur groceries, various goods or services. If you can refer them, you'll be earning Vps and royalties. Hand in to the owner or store manager an ECA brochure with your SFI ID stamped or printed on the back cover. If that's not possible (or you're not ready yet for "high level confrontations"), you can hand the brochure to the check-out clerk or other store employee and request that they deliver it to the owner or store manager on your behalf. Ask them to please mention that you're a regular customer (provided you are, of course), and be sure to thank them for doing this.
Applying these methods will help you in contacting your prospective ECA effectively.
