On your home page, click on Power Tool and select Co-op Manager from the drop down menu or go directly here: https://www.sfimg.com/PowerTools/TLCoop
When the page opens click on Start a New Co-op and you need to do 3 key things on the next page:
1. Select a Key Code you want to associate the co-op with and assuming you do not know about key codes, it is used to track where you signups come from and the code can be up to 4 digits. An example using your SFI sponsor gateway is www.sfi4.com/xxxxxxxx.120/FREE
The x’s is your SFI ID, While the 120 in the example is the key code you have chosen for your co-op so when you advertise using this gateway, the signups you generate will be assigned to the co-op and distributed to the members of your downline you have listed as co-op participants. You will be requested to name and describe the co-op and you may choose to only name or both. Please note that codes 1101, 1200 and 1300 are reserved for SFI and you cannot use any of those.
Co-op Source: here you need to choose your gateway if you are going to employ your personal ad to generate signups for the co-op or S-Builder if you want the signups to be generated by it.
2. Assignment Type: here you will choose how the signups will be distributed to the participants of the co-op. The 2 types are Shares and Signups. Shares distributes equal number of signups to all participants, while in the case of Signups, you are effectively guaranteeing that each participant will get a certain number of signups your co-op generates. In order to avoid any complications or a form of guarantee, it is recommended you go for Shares.
3. At the bottom of the page, click on Create New Co-op and return to the Co-op Manager page. Here you will see the co-op you just created, click on the key code to access the edit function, click edit to add participants and you will see the co-op URL (basically your SFI sponsor gateway) to use in your advertising efforts. At this point the co-op is ready to go and all you need to do next is advertisement.
Generally, you may want to be a participant too and it will be your decision to share the cost of advertising to participants or you may elect to pay all or part of it. The Co-op Manager itself does the assignments of the signups your co-op generates to the participants. Choose any method of advertisement you desire or you may use S-Builder if you want but which ever the case, you must remember to include the co-op key code in your SFI sponsor URL because this is the only way the Co-op Manager will know for sure that the signups are for the co-op you created.
