This depends entirely on your budget and commitment to SFI. If you are just starting out in SFI, and probably only have a small budget, I would strongly suggest you stick to free advertising untilyou are more established.
There are hundreds of Traffic Exchanges you can advertise on in return for simply visiting other members sites, you don't need to upgrade at first, get your self settled in SFI first and once your commissions start rolling in you can increase your spending as your budget grows.
And of course social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc) are a must to advertise your SFI presence. Once again it is free to advertise on these platforms, so use them to your advantage. I have about 50 'Tweets' that I regularly use every 2-3 days, it is easy to cut and paste them every few days,and I have received many referrals from this source.
Be creative, and once you are established in SFI, re-invest your commissions back into your SFI advertising budget, this will pay dividends in the long run
