Well, my experience in SFI tells me slow and steady wins the race. I mean one should read a lot , understand, and act. Ofcourse there is time investment. About success , we should act as per training but if we try to look for shortcut and start thinking i ll make quick money, then its not a long lasting business for that person, there ll come a time he / she may quit and this is definitely what we do not want. So here i would say that you should prepare your affiliates in such a way , they should be aware that the results will be positive but they ll have to be patient.
On the other hand if your affiliates keep in track of training after just joining, you have given basic outlines on making VPS, team building , selling at tripleclicks , introducing ECAs etc etc and they are ready to invest good time and money in buying PSA, Sbuilder co op , SO t credits 125, IAHBE.. etc then it would be a lil faster. But they should still practice patience and be informed all the tie.
