1. Blogging – No if's and or butts, when you have your own self hosted Wordpress Blog and add great content to it every few days you will begin building a traffic magnet that will generate free targeted visitors looking for your business 24/7/365. I don't mean a bunch of advertising post. You should put banners for the various parts of SFI and maybe even a page for each up but in your blog give great information and training and make sure you have awesome content people would like to read and you will succeed.
2. For more immediate results you can't beat direct marketing, or relationship marketing. Get social, set up business pages on Facebook, Twitter, and Google Plus. Make friends, don't just add people to send advertising too, make real connections and have conversations for weeks before you even think of introducing them to your business. Stay out of SPAM groups, they DO NOT WORK AT ALL and will get your account deleted and your links banned. Let your page do your selling but like your blog give constant quality content and people will be drawn to your profile just as they are drawn to your blog pages and they will engage with your ads as a show of support.
People need to join you, not your business.
If your prospects follow your lead and you work on being a strong leader you will do far better than if you try to post ads in as many places as possible and pray that people will join and be instantly successful. Too many people here at SFI practice the advertise and go ideology and as a result most of our links are banned on major sites like Facebook and Craig's List and even Blogger.
They will spend countless hours a day in dozens of traffic exchanges and on tons of free classifieds site and eventually they will have enough ads on the web to generate a stead stream of people here to check out what they can get for free. You read these members frustration in the SFI forum as they wonder why 99.9% of their PSA and CSA are inactive and don't respond with about 65% -75% of them never even confirming their account or logging in.
When you blog or do relationship marketing you build trust and people follow you. They connect and engage and they show up informed and ready to work. Above all you don't feel stressed because networking is natural. You meet new people all the time at church, at work, out shopping, at the bar, at parties, at school, so you know how to make connections and can apply those same skills online to help your business grow or offline to grow your business locally.
