At nearly 64 I'm way over 50 and loving the SFI Business. I just wish I got started when I was that age. Lots of 50-year-olds are actually quite used to computers. If they have a job that is way things have been for at least 20 years.
People that age are just starting to think about retirement and wondering if they'll have enough money to last them through those long years. Not many people have great pensions and many are wondering if Old Age Security and Canada Pension (or whatever your country has), will still be there for them when they retire at 65. That's if they are lucky. The age for retirement is probably going to be at least 70 by then.
If they work hard now they can have a residual income and royalties for the rest of their lives with this business. Just show them information from the SFI site, like Launchpad, forum, and ASK SC answers. Talk to the successful people in SFI right now and get their answers.
Personally, I've been working a few hours per day in SFI for one and a half years and am a Silver Team Leader every month now. I have sponsored some ECAs and have a Store myself with a few items listed. I'm really only just getting started.
It doesn't matter what your age, gender, lifestyle, or computer skills are, anyone can make a success of this business if they just try and don't give up.
