The problems facing the older generations these days are a) does not have enough money in their retirement funds if they have one at all, to sustain them the rest of their lives b)statistically people these days are living longer and c)in this day and age of technology there are many who are afraid or are not computer savvy. We need to approach this cautiously cause many of seniors live on a limited income and they will surely quit once they are faced with extra expenses. So, be honest with them what this business entails so they are well informed. Many of our seniors are being taken advantage of these days so you really need to be honest and sincere of your intentions.
There are a lot of online business opportunities out there so what is it about SFI?
1) I would first let them imagine being able to earn income working from home, setting their own hours, having the time to spend with families and friends
2) In presenting SFI I would point out that it's free to join. That they will have the support, the guidance, and all the tools they need to succeed. Talk to them about the Founder of this organization, his background, etc.
3) Give examples or testimonies from people of their own age who are in the business.
4) Be honest with them of what this business entails, i.e. out of pocket expenses. After all, nothing in life is free and they know that. The more honest you are the likelihood of joining is high. Talk to them about Triple Clicks. How they can purchase some of the products they normally buy on line...give examples of different ECA's (locally) they can buy from, saving money on time and gas.
5) Discuss with them the simplicities of running their SFI business, that they don't have to be computer gurus.
These are just some ideas I can think of. But, the bottom line is be honest and sincere about helping them. Why they can benefit from having their own home based business. Don't be aggressive, that will just give them a red flag of your intentions. Put yourself in their shoes.
