Simply be honest with your team member and tell them you don't know the answer to that particular question they are asking for But, that you will endeavor to find a suitable answer from either your Up line or from another a2a friend or searching the Forum or the ASK ACs wealth of data base.

Not saying you are supposed to know everything. No one can but you ought to know enough about SFI business to be able to offer support to your team.
We should never pretend to our team members that "we know it all" when we actually don't. It's absolutely OK not to know everything though I wish I could. SFI is vast and full of resources and tools that requires time and constant learning effort to grasp much of the Knowledge here. Better yet SFI is constantly updating it's data base and evolving more as time unfolds for the betterment if it's Affiliates.
Many people from my own team to my a2a friends have asked me a vast array of questions about everything from most difficult ones to most obvious ones. If I know the answer and it's gonna benefit them, I simply give it to them. If I don't I tell them I don't but will either look it up for them and get back to them in 24 hours or refer them to someone reputable who is more knowledgeable than I am to assist them.
Lastly, if the question requires supports attention I will either submit a support ticket on their behalf, for my team members that is or guide them on how to do it. That is how I have successfully dealt with this scenario.
Good Luck!
