Personally, I think you should support multiple earning opportunities, SFI is a business so you need to offer your 'clients' many products, services or opportunities. Think of SFI just like any other store on your local street, they don't just offer one product for sale, they have a whole shop full. It is all about getting prospective buyers into your 'store', and once they are in you need to have many products or services on offer, as not all customers are searching for exactly the same thing.
Your SFI 'store' has many items that you can promote, including becoming an SFI affiliate (from which you can earn commissions), a TripleClicks member, plus over 110,000 products that you can advertise in many, many ways.
I advertise all these, plus I have my own personal SFI-based website and Facebook Page, so I advertise those as ways of attracting potential customers to my gateways within SFI. And the beauty of SFI is that you don't need a big budget, you don't need to stock any products, all you need is a little time, a lot of enthusiasm and a desire to succeed. The rest will follow naturally!! Of course if you have a good budget, you can really explode your business to the world, but I would suggest getting grounded before you commit too much money.
