This is a very good question.
It is easy to get discouraged with SFI sometimes when you have inactive affiliates.
Here is what I tend to do to divide the movers from the in actives.
1. I send a welcome email as soon as any new person joins.
2. the second day I send an e-card encouraging them to remain active and participate in the E365 contest.
3. I send out a weekly email to all my genealogy with the news of the week and or encouraging tips to get any in actives interested.
4. Then I focus on the ones who actually are and continuing to be active. Those are the ones who you can help and who will help you in the long run.
Those are the ones who see the vision of SFI and want to pass that vision on.
My belief is that a business or job one has to work and work hard to get money. Money doesn't grow on trees and isn't free. Sadly that is what a lot of the in actives probably thought when they signed up.
But those who see the vision you do will make all the difference. Wait for those. Don't be discouraged. Internet marketing is still rather brand new.
Be patient. Give time. Contact your affiliates regularly and eventually you will begin to see things move up.
