What I do when sending out my email with the redemption code is copy a picture of a gift cards and insert it into the email. I get the picture from the SFI website marketing Aids section. There is a wide choice of gift card banners there and I just copy one of them, I copy the image only not the code.
So when the recipient opens the email they see a nice picture of that gift card along with the redemption code. This makes the email look quite interesting and professional. I hope this helps.
