As I am setting up my own ECA products, the one advise I would give them is to read through the "Do's and Don't" regarding products to put on their site. Read SFI's guidelines.
As far as the pricing of their products I would tell them to do research specially if the product is common. I would refer them to EBay or Amazon to see how much their common product is going for. They need to be competitive with the market otherwise nobody will buy from them if they can get it elsewhere much cheaper. They can't sell their product at a loss however. They need to include in their price a modest profit and the cost of shipping the product, and SFI's 15%.
With that said, I would advise them to not sell product that big organization such as EBay or Amazon sells as they probably keep product in bulk and can sell them cheaper unless they too have them in inventory. If so, they can compete. If not have a product that is unique, is not a trend.
