Hi, you know...quite a few affiliates ask that same question or, they don't ask and end up just taking a guess so first, I'd like to applaud you for asking this question.
In my opinion, when signing up a new ECA, You should spend a little time showing them how to log onto the site first and how to navigate throughout Triple Clicks. I would even show them how to log into and navigate SFI as well since their new customers will be affiliates of SFI. It would also give them a first hand tour of your business and you just might end up with a new affiliate...if not right away, in the future once they see their new venture with Triple Clicks continue growing. I would show them other ECA stores so they can get an Idea as to what they might want to place in their own store however, I wouldn't suggest Items unless they first asked me directly what they might consider. The reason for this opinion is because I would want to show them respect, respect for them as well as respect in them knowing their business...after all, this new ECA store is their business, just a new location. Yes, it can have a direct impact on your business and your income; this is why I would spend some time helping them logging in, navigating, and just answering general questions. I want them to feel comfortable in their new venture because, as they become more and more at ease with their ECA store, you'll find your relationships with them grow as well as your income. Like I said earlier, they just might see exactly what you've seen all along and ask you how they can become an affiliate with SFI.
