The tendency hear will be to say - "Yes! Of course it would be beneficial." Unfortunately it is not as straightforward as it seems.
If SFI were to set up forums in languages other than English, they would be of great benefit to non English speaking affiliates. They would find it easier to understand the systems and support each other in their own language. It would also make it easier for them to recruit people from countries that speak their language.
SFI is however and international business and English is the international language of the business world. There are many languages and dialects in the world and it would be a logistical nightmare not to mention costs, to set up separate forums even if they were just for the main languages. There is also the danger of SFI being fragmented and communication break-downs as a result different languages being used.
I do believe that if people feel strongly about having forums in their own language a senior team leader should be allowed to have a forum in their own language hosted by him or her on their own websites. They become responsible for their accuracy and credibility.
It is, afterall, the sponsor's role to assist their team members understand the system and support them growing their business.
Regarding seminars in their own language, again this is the responsibility of team leaders. They can in fact do that right now.
