A sponsor is supposed to help the affiliate understand how SFI works and where to find the information needed.
One way is to act like a teacher with a student. The student has an assignment, to learn as much about SFI as possible. The teacher will tell the student where to find certain information and after the student has read the information they will answer any questions and explain what is not understood. They will never do the work for them.
The teacher will suggest better ways of doing things to make it easier learn. I the student needs extra help they will be there at all times, but it is very important that the student is first working to learn as much as possible on their own.
If an affiliate is doing everything they can and needs help to reach EA a sponsor can give them VP or a gift certificate as a reward. They can also set up contest for them to win something to help build their business. These things are good, but never give out money to affiliates and never do the work for them. This will cause many problems and you will be hurting them more than you realize.
