Greetings Dah and my fellow SFI associates,
THE DO'S
- As a team leader your support should be defined to DIRECTING your PSAs to actions that will bring success. To do this YOU need to understand the SFI business yourself. Learn ALL you can to be a great leader.
- For new affiliates SFI already have a mailing system set up to help your new affiliate to get started. Your best action at the beginning is to simply introduce yourself and let your new affiliate know that you are there to support them. Ensure you include your contact details and ask them to contact you if they need help. If you send too many emails they may leave because they will be getting yours and SFI emails. In over 7 years of being with SFI I have found that one of the main reasons given for opting out is 'Too many emails'.
- Always follow up and respond to questions from your team members, PROMPTLY. Their actions will often be a DUPLICATION of own actions. If you are tardy and unprofessional they will treat SFI as anything but a real business. YOU need to be professional in your approach for any of your team members to treat their own business with respect.
- When you PSA is established and going through the daily actions and Launchpad monitor their activity on a daily basis. As a leader this becomes a part of YOUR OWN Daily to do list to check your MOVERS to see if they need help. If you notice that they are missing some important aspect of the business or they could be earning more VP or Profits send them a message through SFI to let them know.
- As time passes you will find your own leaders within your PSAs. They will be the ones who READ, LEARN and DUPLICATE. Your support of those leaders will be a minimum because they will know how to manage their own SFI business.
- You should contact ALL of your PSAs and CSAs weekly through the PSA mailer, always letting them know that you are available to help when they need it. Try to provide some inspiration or handy tips in your emails. If you don't know any handy tips or hints check the SFI forums.
- REWARD your workers through either gift certificates, affiliate reassignments, Tcredits and RECOGNITION. You may be surprised to know that RECOGNITION is one of man's greatest motivations.
THE DONT'S
- AVOID micro-managing your team members. This means doing too much for them when they are not doing enough. You will come across PSAs who do not want to do the work of reading and learning. It is not your job to LEARN for them and you can trap yourself into spending too much time with one affiliate leading to the neglect of others. WORK WITH THE WORKERS!
- Don't ask them to do anything that you are not willing to do yourself and don't EVER lie to them. Be genuine and honest with your team members.
- Don't try to solve problems for your team members that are better left to SFI support. There are some issues that you will never be able to fix for them. If you are asked a question by a team member that is better left to SFI support inform them POLITELY that it is a matter best left to SFI support and ask them to submit a support ticket AND provide a link to the support page (https://www.sfimg.com/Support)
I sincerely hope this helps you and my fellow SFI affiliates build strong, profitable teams.
To Your Success.
