I am talking from experience, my team leader is constantly every month with out fail is doing contests for us Affiliates to become EA's and to maintaining this position, and than also in building your team. Also to becoming team leaders. Yes the competition is hard but it is very worthwhile and encourages me to work harder.
I will strongly recommend you to set your own rules and get your own competition on go. Also I am using this method for stimulation and its giving wonderful results.
I am 3 months in the business and Bronse Team Leader, streem to Silver TL.
You need to pay attention to few details:
1. Set your budget wisely - for beginning set 3-4 contest with 10$. People like gifts.
2. Write down and publish rules of your competition. Be specific about details. Explain to the reader what your goals are and what are the conditions.
3. Be creative and stimulate both leaders both new PSAs
4. Promote your monthly contest
5. Buy Gift Certificate Budget on time. When you add funds to your account it would take some time (not long) to be approved.
6. At the end issue your rewards though genealogy
The benefits of Organizing a contest for your down line, is that you encourage them to work a bit harder, keep them motivated, also depends on what you are offering...
I may not always win, but I am always in the running, I am aiming to build my team and I am now also trying to get a competition going for my down line. I want to encourage my team just like my team leader encourages me.
