Very simply put - just open up a Microsoft Office Excel Sheet (or get a free one from Office Org) and number each row one step further from where you start. EG. if you start at 001 the next obvious one is 2, 3, 4 etc.
As you put in new advertising with a new site take the next number and use it for key coding the site.
Along with that in the columns, make different columns for
1) your keycode
2) no of hits...........after a while I find that there are too many hits in too many different places so I just clump all the hits for the site together and keep adding the total to the total I already have. It is enough to give me a good idea as to which site is working for me.
3) put a log in link of the site you are using this code for here, so that you can make out right away which site is getting the hits - and by putting in a log in link all you need to do is click on the link and it will take you to that site right away.
4) any specifications put out by the site ---eg. one free ad in 4 days, etc.
5) date last used for putting out an add, so it becomes easy to resend when the time is up.
Any other things that you want to keep a track off can also be put into different columns here. eg password, email used, etc.
All the best. Have fun with key-coding and hit tracking. :)
