I rather ask ,how often you need to communicate with your sponsor or Co-sponsor ?
When ever you need any guidance or advice ,you can turn up to your sponsor or co sponsor.There's no boundation on it.
Time will come ,when you may be self efficient and you may not need any advice from your sponsor . And I gurantee ,your sponsor will be most happy person to see you in that position , not because you communicate with him less but because you have become self efficient.
But that time ,you should communicate at least once in a week with your sponsor or co sponsor to make them feel that you steel need them.
