I try to stay in touch with my sponsor at least weekly. I am afraid I may have failed to do so with my co-sponsor, so thank you for bringing it to my attention.
1. Contact that them any time you have questions or need advice. They are there to help you. I turn to my sponsor first every time. He gives me the answer, or encourages me to use my own initiative by telling me where I can find the answer.
2. Contact them any time you achieve some milestone. They love to here that you are succeeding & are excited about it. For example, I contacted my sponsor when I got my first CSA, my first PSA, & when I achieved EA the first & second times. He probably already knew, but he could feel my enthusiasm & excitement because I contacted him. This too encourages the sponsor to help you more.
3. Contact them when they have achieved a milestone. "Congratulations" & praise go a long way to encourage people in what they are doing. Your sponsors are human too, so sometimes they may need that encouragement from you. I haven't seen milestones of my sponsor yet, but I do click on "Like" on his forum posts that are helpful.
4. Contact them just to say hi, to acknowledge something they have sent to you ... I love to hear from my CSA's & PSA's. I like to thank my sponsor for any advice he gave me, so that he knows I am grateful & appreciated his consideration.
I am sure the other sponsors &co-sponsors do too.
