I think your best mentor is your sponsor, logically he's the one that gains the most if you are successful.
So, that's the first place to go, and if you're lucky he's great at passing on he's knowledge and already good at this job, that's in my case anyway, and you really need someone who knows what he's doing here. But sometimes you have inactive or uninterested sponsor and then you have to look someplace else.
Next best thing are the members of your upline, if your sponsor wont help you contact his sponsor, and if he's unavailable ask his sponsor and so on. Look at their badges, see their rang, if it is high you'll know they're the real deal.
