I think you should first find out if the person has ever tried bidding at a penny auction
then I would explain to them about PriceBenders auctions at TripleClicks.com and if I was around a computor or had a laptop with me I would take them to the site and show them and maybe let them do some bidding then show them the latest winners and let them see first hand what people are winning and what they are paying for the win. It would be like the saying "getting your foot in the door."
