You really need to do both. It is important to learn to advertise for yourself. But sometimes our advertising efforts hit a wall, so to speak. In this case I think buying advertising that results in signups is a good course to follow to keep your team growing. I personally utilize both methods, but I try to keep the cost low enough as to not interfere with my other financial responsibilities. Contrary to what you may be reading in forum, there are some good advertising packages available on TripleClicks that will result in affiliates and are inexpensive. A couple of bucks here and there is all it takes.
