I must admit to buying PSAs. It was a good move to set up a SO for S Builder as it recruited while I learned how to advertise. Quality of PSAs who sign up is difficult to guarantee as for some the time is not yet right for them to work with us. This is perhaps where sponsoring PSAs ourselves is very useful as we can at least be sure of two way communication before they sign up.
I suspect some sign up via an informative page without a deep understanding of the business and its demands to be treated seriously. A lot of opportunities on the internet are associated with quick get rich results which are not usual results but some of the exceptions. By sponsoring yourself you have a conversation with a PSA before they sign up so you have the chance to explain it is a real business that can build up a second income even to the point where it can become the main income if we work at it.
I doubt that many would expect a thorough training program but SFI gives it freely and gives a guide too, the sponsor to guide the new PSAs. I will always remember learning one critical fact about business opportunities: people join people not opportunities. Take good advantage of that and recruit personally if possible to ensure the relationship works well for your recruit and for the team building that is the strength of SFI.
