SFI have various ways in which you can be in contact with your team. I would not say anyone is better than the other.
You can use the stream feature which you will earn one VP: I tend to use this to give an open congratulation to that member so others can also see.
You can you the weekly group mailing and gain 30 VP: I tend to use this if I want to say something collective to the entire team.
I use the TM mode to send an individual private mail just to a select team member.
Also if they are online at the moment I am online too, I would instant message them.
If the relationship is very good with a good line of communication then I will use things like Facebook and personal emails.
